How to bake baby back ribs step-by-step
Now I’ll walk you through the detailed recipe with extra tips…
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- For best results, remove the membrane from ribs by flipping them meat-side-down. Gently separate the white membrane from the corner of the boney side of the ribs, pulling it back all the way. Discard the membrane.
- Season baby back ribs by rubbing olive oil all over them then rubbing the BBQ rub in.

- Bake baby back ribs on a sheet tray, meaty side up, in an oven preheated to 275 degrees F for 90 minutes.

- Remove ribs from the oven to wrap them in foil with seasonings… Add 2 sheets of tin foil on top of each other on a flat surface (pieces should be a bit longer than the ribs).
To the foil, add the butter, honey, brown sugar, and bbq sauce and then place the ribs, meaty side down.
Wrap the foil around the ribs like a burrito, adding an extra piece of foil on the top to cover them completely.

- Add ribs back to oven, on a sheet tray, and bake at 275 degrees F for about 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 190-200 degrees F.
- Remove ribs from the oven, open up the foil, and set the broiler to high. Keep the meaty side up.

- Brush ribs (the meaty side) with bbq sauce and broil on high, without foil, for about 3 minutes or until the bbq sauce on top sets into a dryer bark.
- Cool, serve with fresh chopped herbs if desired, and enjoy.
