Ingredients
Here’s what you need to make buffalo chicken sliders.
- 8 chicken tenders (regular size, you’ll cut each one in half one done cooking to fit the slider roll, alternatively use mini chicken tenders, I just find that they aren’t usually as flat as tenders)
- 16 mini Hawaiian rolls
- ½ cup blue cheese dressing (try my homemade recipe, it’s delicious)
- ¼ cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1 tbsp cilantro, fresh chopped
Scale the recipe up or down as needed…
This particular recipe will teach you how to make 16 of them, which is a good size to feed ~5-6 people.

Finished with a drizzle of buffalo wing sauce…
A little more blue cheese dressing…
And a sprinkle of fresh chopped cilantro…
Then the top bun.
Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
Why I wrote this recipe
I hadn’t been grocery shopping, but I did have some frozen chicken tenders in the freezer…
So this recipe for very simple and fast-to-make Buffalo chicken sliders was born.
If you don’t have or like blue cheese, use ranch dressing instead.
And if you’ve never tried making your own blue cheese dressing at home, you should…
You can toast your slider buns if desired by melting butter in a skillet on the stove, and cooking the inside of the buns.
This is a great addition to a burger bar, because they are so easy to make.
Enjoy them!

Meat thermometer recommendations
Every home chef needs a reliable meat thermometer to cook food perfectly.
On Sip Bite Go, you’ll often see me using:
- Meater thermometer – a fancy wireless thermometer that connects to a phone app – gifted to me from a Traeger partnership.
- ThermoPro digital thermometer – which has a wire that connects the thermometer to a display box outside the oven/grill.
It’s like being psychic! The great thing about either of the thermometers above is that I don’t have to take the food out of the oven to know the temperature.
How to use ‘em… What I do is stick the digital thermometer in steak, pork, chicken, whatever… Then put the food in the oven, on the smoker, or grill.
While the meat cooks, it reads the temperature so I know exactly what temp meat is as it’s cooking. Without having to take it out and check. It’s really difficult to overcook food when you know exactly what temp it is inside!
