Viral Cheese and Pickle Chickle Recipe served with dipping sauce
    • After some practice, I’ve decided the key is to make a really thin shredded cheese layer (use med-high heat) and work quickly to wrap the pickle inside.
    • Use two spatulas to gently mold the cheese to stick to itself.
    • Don’t forget the dip! Try this jalapeno ranch dressing.

Detailed recipe steps for making a chickle

Cooking Pickle Spear in Shredded Cheddar Cheese in a pan
    1. Pat pickle spears dry with a paper towel.
    2. Heat a non-stick skillet on the stove to medium-high heat. Once hot, do the following for each chickle…
    3. Add a ¼ cup shredded cheddar to the pan, and quickly form a circle (the width of the pickle) with a spatula.
    4. Place a pickle down into the center of the melted cheese. Let the cheese sizzle and brown on the bottom for about 1 minute.
    5. Using two spatulas, gently fold the melted cheddar cheese over the pickle so the pickle is completely enclosed by the cheese making a long roll shape.
    6. Cook as needed, rotating as desired, until the cheese is melted to your liking. I like the outside to be a light brown color.
    7. Serve the viral chickle with your favorite dipping sauce.
