Ingredients for ravioli pizza on flatbread

Ravioli pizza is really easy to make, starting with some store bought ingredients you probably already have in your pantry, fridge and freezer, like ravioli, sauce, and cherry tomatoes. Collect them up to make ravioli pizza on flatbread (naan) with Alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese.

The soft flatbread used in this recipe is from Atorias Family Bakery – it’s naan that comes in packs for two that was part of my Imperfect Foods delivery. The pizza is topped with Nonna Pia’s balsamic glaze and fresh basil grown in my Aerogarden.

Step 1. First preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then place the flatbreads on top.

Step 2. Then brush olive oil around the outer inch of the naan flatbreads. After that, add tomato sauce to the center of the flatbread pizza, leaving 1-inch around the outside for the crust. Then sprinkle Italian seasoning over tomato sauce.

    FAQs

Can you use traditional pizza dough instead of flatbread or naan?

Absolutely! See my guide to making pizza with store bought dough. You can make it on frozen pizza crust, too.

What type of ravioli for ravioli pizza on flatbread?

In the recipe photos, I use spinach ravioli – but any flavor will do. You can also use tortellini.

Final tips for making ravioli pizza on flatbread

    • Change up the sauce. This pizza uses both store bought Alfredo sauce and tomato sauce. You can make your own tomato sauce with canned tomatoes – it’s really easy.
    • Make it a party. I love making homemade pizzas because it’s fun and kid-friendly! Arrange your sauce and toppings on the counter, and let everyone in the family top their own personal flatbread pizza. Then, just throw everything in the oven. Personalized dinner without the need for takeout.
    • Customize the toppings. Not feeling ravioli pizza? Totally fine! Flatbread pizza is perfect for all kinds of toppings. Keep things fresh and simple with a spinach pesto Alfredo flatbread pizza or embrace your summer BBQ vibes and make a sous vide pork flatbread pizza instead.

jenna passaro prepping sous vide steak

My story. Growing up, I didn’t learn to cook. And then in my 20’s I didn’t have to cook because my job involved a lot of travel and it was easier to eat out. At the time, I was 100% positive that restaurant food would always taste better than cooking at home, and there was nothing I could do about it.

Until I fell in love with a chef. He would come over and cook me delicious meals right in my own kitchen. My mind was blown.

Since then, I’ve been on a mission to figure out easy ways to make restaurant style food at home and share it here on Sip Bite Go.
