How to make scrambled eggs on griddles
Now I’ll walk you through it…
- Prep all ingredients before cooking scrambled eggs on the griddle. Season eggs with salt and pepper as desired. You’ll want everything ready to use as this is a pretty fast griddle recipe. I like to use a tray to carry everything outside at once.
- Preheat Traeger Flatrock, Blackstone Grill, or whatever indoor griddle or outdoor flattop you’re using to medium-high heat.
- Add butter to coat the griddle.
- Griddle scrambled eggs. Pour the eggs onto the griddle. Use spatulas to continue flipping scrambled eggs around for a few minutes, so they stay light and fluffy and don’t overcook. Check out the Sip Bite Go recipe demonstration video to see how we fold the eggs into each other so they cook evenly.
- Remove griddled eggs. When the eggs have hardened to your liking, remove them from the griddle cooktop.
- Finish as you’d like with salt, pepper, hot sauce, or herbs like cilantro, and enjoy.

Meat thermometer recommendations
Every home chef needs a reliable meat thermometer to cook food perfectly.
On Sip Bite Go, you’ll often see me using:
- Meater thermometer – a fancy wireless thermometer that connects to a phone app – gifted to me from a Traeger partnership.
- ThermoPro digital thermometer – which has a wire that connects the thermometer to a display box outside the oven/grill.
It’s like being psychic! The great thing about either of the thermometers above is that I don’t have to take the food out of the oven to know the temperature.
How to use ‘em… What I do is stick the digital thermometer in steak, pork, chicken, whatever… Then put the food in the oven, on the smoker, or grill.
While the meat cooks, it reads the temperature so I know exactly what temp meat is as it’s cooking. Without having to take it out and check. It’s really difficult to overcook food when you know exactly what temp it is inside!
Are you a foodie, too?
Hey home chef, hope that answers all your questions about making delicious scrambled eggs on the griddle.
I wrote this recipe because the Texas heat has been burning us up ALL SUMMER!!
Now that it’s finally starting to dip below 90 degrees — what is considered a “cold front” in Dallas – it’s time to heat up the griddle and take brunch outside!!
Griddle-scrambled eggs are an ideal way to start your outdoor cooking journey.
Not only do they require few ingredients and minimal effort, but they taste delicious too!
