How do you tenderize beef flap meat?

For tougher cuts of steak, you’ll want to tenderize the meat and break down the muscle fibers prior to cooking.

Tenderized and griddle cooked beef flap meat with marinade recipe

Use something like this flap meat marinade to help tenderize beef before cooking it on the grill, griddle, or inside on a hot cast iron pan.

Marinade flap meat for about 30 minutes to a couple of hours before cooking. Reminder: never use leftover marinade that’s touched raw meat again – ditch it after marinating the beef.
