    Ingredients

    Here’s what you need to make this yummy breakfast sandwich.

    Recipe ingredients for Egg and Avocado Sandwich
    • 2 slices sourdough 
    • ½ tbsp butter, salted
    • 2 eggs, whisked
    • ½ avocado, sliced
    • Salt and pepper
    • ½ tsp cilantro
    • 1 tsp cotija cheese
    • 2 tsp crème fraîche / sour cream
    • 1 tsp hot sauce, optional

    Detailed recipe 

    Recipe Steps for making Egg and Avocado Sandwich
    1. Toast sourdough bread. 
    2. Melt butter in a pan on medium heat. 
    3. Add in eggs, stirring and flipping regularly with a spatula, until scrambled to your liking.
    4. Add avocado slices to a piece of toast and add a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
    5. Top with scrambled eggs, a cilantro, and cotija cheese.
    6. Spread crème fraîche or sour cream on the other slice of bread. 
    7. Drizzle with hot sauce if desired, and enjoy.
