Make hamburger patties by combining ground beef, garlic salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Divide the burger mixture into balls of ground beef that will fit inside the heart shaped cookie cutter of your choice. (in the SipBiteGo demo I made burger sliders).
Use the cookie cutter to mold burgers into a heart shape. Gently push the meat out of the cookie cutter and flatten to about ½ inch patties with your hand. (burgers will shrink up a bit when they cook)
Add some butter to a large cast iron skillet on medium-high heat. Griddle cook the inside of the burger buns as desired and set aside.
Add more butter to the skillet and sear the heart shaped burger patties until browned on each side and cooked to your desired internal temperature. (the demo burgers took a few minutes on each side until they cooked to about 140 degrees temp / medium, as measured with an internal read thermometer). Remove from heat when done.
Serve heart shaped burgers with your favorite toppings like smashed avocado, cheese, ketchup, mustard, etc.
