Instructions
Prep all ingredients before cooking chicken breasts on the griddle. You’ll want them ready to use. I like to use a tray.
Prepare chicken breasts by marinating them in Teriyaki or BBQ sauce as seen in this recipe (for the griddle teriyaki chicken breast flavor - mix all ingredients together before adding chicken). Alternatively you can season the chicken breasts with any dry rub of your choice.
Preheat Traeger Flatrock, Blackstone Grill, or whatever indoor griddle or outdoor flattop you’re using to a medium-high heat.
Add cooking oil to coat the griddle. (I usually use an avocado / olive oil blend)
Griddle chicken breasts for 10 - 15 minutes flipping frequently for an even cook and sear on both sides. If your griddle is too hot, turn down the heat and add a little water to the flattop to create some steam. Adding water helps avoid burning your chicken breast.
Remove griddle chicken breasts at 165 degrees F as measured with an internal read thermometer.
Rest griddled chicken breasts for at least 10 minutes and enjoy.
