Try this smoked spatchcock chicken with jalapeños…
Ingredients
- 2 jalapenos, sliced thin, seeds removed if desired
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
How to smoke candied jalapenos on the pellet grill
- Set Traeger or whatever pellet grill you’re using to 250 degrees F.
- Add parchment paper to a baking sheet and place sliced jalapeños on top. Sprinkle each one with a dusting of brown sugar in the center.
- Smoke jalapeños with brown sugar for 30-45 minutes, on the baking sheet, until candied. When the sugar is completely melted, they are done.
- Rest about 4 minutes so they crisp up. Peel from parchment paper and enjoy.
