Ingredients
- 1 rack spare ribs about 2–2.5 lb
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup BBQ rub about 2 tbsp per side
- 2 tbsp BBQ sauce for glazing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Pat ribs dry with paper towels. Spritz or brush them all over with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then rub in ¼ cup of BBQ rub (about 2 tbsp per side) to coat evenly.
- Place the ribs on the baking sheet, meat-side up, and bake for 2½ to 3 hours, until the internal temp reaches 190°F.
- Brush the top of the ribs with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce. Cover loosely with foil and return to the oven for 30 more minutes, or until the ribs reach 203°F internally.
- For extra tenderness, let the ribs rest in a cooler or turned-off oven for 1–2 hours. Or slice and serve right away—hot, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone delicious!
