Imagine how unique and personal it would be to color your own Christmas cards this year. The people on your Christmas list would probably love to receive personal holiday cards instead of the store-bought kind. It’s a crafty Xmas DIY idea that’s fun for adults + simple enough for kids, too.
COLOR YOUR OWN DIY CHRISTMAS CARDS
Coloring your own cards is a great reason to unplug for a while + catch up with your significant other or kids. Plus, you don’t have to be super artsy to make cute holiday cards. Get your supplies and get cozy in a blanket, beside a furry friend, and within reach of a mug of piping-hot cocoa.

My painting skills are a little rusty, but you don’t have to be super artsy to make cute holiday cards. Use any craft materials you already own – markers, crayons, colored pencils, glitter and paint – to decorate them.
Special thanks to The Invite Lady for these lovely cards! Full disclosure, because I’m a social media marketing consultant for the brand, when I heard about these cards I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.

Since the holiday cards come printed on heavy card stock, the acrylic paint did not bend or warp the cards. I was happy I didn’t have to flatten them. I let the cards dry over night on the kitchen counter. The next morning they were ready to fold and slip into the matching white envelopes from The Invite Lady.
