Grilled Paneer Skewers on Appetizer Platter

    What is grilled paneer

Grilled paneer is a beloved Indian appetizer featuring cubes of paneer cheese and vegetables.

    Paneer Cheese with Fresh Vegetables

Paneer cheese is ideal for grilling, developing a slightly charred exterior while the inside stays soft and creamy. My BBQ appetizer paneer recipe elevates the paneer with a simple yet flavorful DIY marinade that you’ll love.

    Ingredients

    Skewer

    • 6 oz paneer cheese
    • 1 medium zucchini
    • 1 medium red pepper
    • 1 medium yellow squash

    Marinade

    • ½ cup cilantro, roughly chopped
    • 1 medium hatch chile pepper, jalapeño, or serrano, seeds and pith removed
    • ½ medium lemon, juiced
    • ½ tsp BBQ rub
    • 1 tsp garlic salt
    • ¼ tsp pepper
    • ⅓ cup olive oil
