WHY YOU’LL LOVE MY GOURMET HAM SANDWICH IDEA
This is the easiest way to feel fancy at lunch. It’s salty, creamy, and packed with flavor from store-bought muffuletta olive salad. Plus, there’s burrata—so obviously it’s a win.
This combo came together after a deli run gone wild, and now it’s my go-to for no-cook lunches by the pool and easy entertaining. Stack it high with lettuce, serve it with kettle chips, and call it a meal.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 3 tbsp muffuletta olive salad
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 thick-cut deli ham slices, folded
- ¼ cup chopped baby greens or salad mix
- 1 ball burrata cheese
- ⅛ tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 5 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- ¼ cup chopped lettuce
- ¼ tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp balsamic vinegar
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze

POPULAR SUBSTITUTIONS & ADDITIONS
- Try a ciabatta roll.
- Swap the ham – Try prosciutto, mortadella, or turkey for a twist.
- Use fresh mozzarella slices or fresh ricotta instead of burrata.
- Add heat – A few Calabrian chiles or a drizzle of hot honey takes it up a notch.
- Make it melty – Toast it like a panini for a warm, gooey version.
