WHY YOU’LL LOVE MY FROZEN WATERMELON LEMONADE COCKTAIL
I threw this together after daydreaming about sipping cocktails at a beach resort in St Maarten—without the plane ticket or room service tab. Luckily, this frozen tequila slushy hits just right on a sunny patio at home.
Inspired by leftover watermelon from a BBQ and my love for tart lemonade, this drink became a go-to for weekend hangouts.
You’ll love it because:
✔️ It’s made in minutes in a blender
✔️ Sweet-tart flavor with just the right boozy kick
✔️ Similar to a margarita, a total party in a glass

- ½ cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- ¾ cup tequila
- ¼ cup triple sec
- 1 to 1½ cups ice

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS BOOZY SLUSHY

- Taste test. Every watermelon is different—add more lemon or sweetener to balance it out before serving.
