All you need to make egg rolls in the air fryer from frozen is a package of egg rolls. I got mine at Whole Foods in the freezer department. You can also get Trader Joe’s egg rolls.
Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce – I love the Trader Joe’s soyaki teriyaki. You’ll see I also plated my air fried egg rolls with lettuce, red pepper, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

How to cook frozen egg rolls in the air fryer
It’s so easy – here’s how to air fry them so they’re perfectly crispy every time.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Add frozen egg rolls to air fryer basket (single layer) once the preheated air fryer is ready.
- Air fry frozen egg rolls for 4 minutes. Flip and air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown to your desired level of doneness. Total cooking time is about 10 minutes.
- Let cool and serve with a side of teriyaki sauce, duck sauce, chili sauce, or your favorite condiments.
FAQs
Pretty much! As long as you’re working with frozen egg rolls that have precooked ingredients, this recipe should work. The only thing I’d say may vary is that cooking mini egg rolls in the air fryer will use a few less minutes since they’re smaller. Try air frying any you’d like, including Trader Joe’s egg rolls, Chung’s chicken egg rolls, pork, Southwest, shrimp or vegetable egg rolls.
