INGREDIENTS
- Hummus: Go with roasted red pepper for color and a sweet, smoky flavor, or use your favorite variety.
- Crumbled feta cheese: Adds a salty, creamy contrast and makes the “flower center” pop.
- Cherry tomatoes or olives: Use whichever you love—both add color and a savory bite.
- Fresh parsley: Just a sprinkle gives a fresh, vibrant finish.
- Extra virgin olive oil: Adds a glossy, rich touch that makes the hummus even more irresistible.
- Fresh basil leaves: For a garnish that looks pretty and brings a hint of freshness.
- Pita chips or fresh veggies: Great for dipping—cucumbers, carrots, and bell peppers all work well!
POPULAR SUBSTITUTIONS & ADDITIONS
- Different hummus flavors: Try garlic, lemon, or beet hummus for a fun twist in flavor and color.
- Goat cheese instead of feta: Adds a creamier, tangier flavor if you’re not into feta.
- Sliced radishes or cucumbers: Add extra crunch and color around the platter.
- Kalamata or green olives: Switch up the type of olive based on your flavor preference.
- Fresh dill or mint: Great alternatives to parsley for a different herb vibe.
- Toasted pine nuts or sunflower seeds: Add crunch and a little nuttiness on top.
HOW TO MAKE A HUMMUS FLOWER PLATTER
The Gist: This pretty platter comes together in minutes with just a few fresh ingredients. You’ll shape the hummus into petals, add toppings, and garnish to create a flower that’s almost too cute to eat!

De-licious!
TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST HUMMUS FLOWER PLATTER
- Make sure to indent the petals. The spoon swirl makes the “petal” effect—simple but it holds the olive oil in the final step.
- Use a big enough plate. A dinner plate gives you room to spread and shape the petals.
- Don’t forget the garnish. Fresh herbs and a drizzle of olive oil take the look (and taste!) up a notch.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH THIS PLATTER
- Smoked chicken breast skewers
- Mediterranean pasta salad
- Air fryer pita chips
- Rainbow veggie tray (try this Bunny Veggie Platter)
- Sparkling lemonade spritzers

Ingredients
- 16 oz roasted red pepper hummus or your favorite flavor
- 2 tbsp crumbled feta cheese divided
- 4 cherry tomatoes or olives
- ½ tsp parsley chopped fresh
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 basil leaves fresh, for garnish
- 3 cups Pita chips or fresh veggies for serving
Instructions
- Scoop the hummus into the center of a large dinner-size plate. Using the back of a spoon, gently smush and spread the hummus outward in curved strokes to resemble flower petals.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of crumbled feta into the center of the “flower” to mimic the pollen. Place 3 cherry tomatoes or olives in the center. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of feta crumbles over the top. Lightly sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of chopped parsley for a pop of color.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the petals and tuck a few fresh basil leaves around the outer edges of the plate for a fresh, springy touch.
