This recipe for crispy buffalo chicken wraps with blue cheese slaw is an easy game day food. It’s one of my favorite go-to lunches during a busy day. These wraps taste great hot out of the oven or chilled. My version of buffalo chicken strip wraps includes a quick and easy blue cheese slaw to cool down the buffalo sauce flavor. Make these crispy buffalo chicken wraps as spicy or mild as you’d like. Let’s get cooking!

I’m a big fan of shortcuts, especially when it comes to lunch. So I was excited when I was approached to create a recipe using Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips. It took all of two seconds to dream up the perfect recipe: crispy buffalo chicken wraps. But I wanted to make them more exciting than classic buffalo chicken wraps.

So I created one of my favorite new sandwich toppings: blue cheese slaw. This slaw is so tasty, my husband has been eating the left-over slaw straight out of the container in the fridge. Yup, it’s that good on its own!

Ingredients for crispy buffalo chicken wraps with blue cheese slaw

This recipe uses just a handful of ingredients. First, it’s important to use super crispy chicken strips, like the new and improved Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips. Then add some refreshing veggies with carrots, red onion, cilantro which are mixed together with blue cheese dressing in a really simple, but delicious slaw. And then, of course, soft 10” flour tortilla wraps and buffalo sauce.

How to make crispy buffalo chicken wraps – step by step

Bake Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips according to package directions. My package instructions said to bake them 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

Baking the chicken didn’t require any flipping. It couldn’t have been any easier. The chicken strips came out perfectly crispy and delicious at the recommended time and temperature.

In a bowl, make the blue cheese slaw. combine shredded carrots, diced red onion, blue cheese dressing, and cilantro. Refrigerate the slaw until it’s time to assemble the crispy buffalo chicken wraps.

When chicken is done baking, it’s time to build the wraps.

Place the flour wraps on a plate or butcher’s block. Add two Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips to each wrap. Drizzle the crispy chicken with buffalo sauce.

Top with blue cheese slaw.

Fold the ingredients together in the wrap and secure with toothpicks and slice in half. Serve with extra blue cheese dressing, carrot sticks, celery or one of the other sides recommended in the notes.

Why I love using Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips for buffalo chicken wraps

With crispy chicken as the star of this wrap, it was a no-brainer to choose Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips. I purchased my crispy chicken strips at Target.

The new and improved Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips recipe is perfectly seasoned, has no antibiotics ever, and is now even crispier. With the spicy buffalo sauce added to the chicken, I love that these chicken strips stayed very crisp.

Good side dishes for buffalo chicken wraps

Turn this simple lunch into a meal. Some ideas for good side dishes for buffalo chicken wraps include:

  • Carrot and celery sticks with blue cheese dressing
  • Make-ahead Mexican salad (the ranch dressing helps cool down the buffalo sauce)
  • Potato salad
  • Baked potato with sour cream
  • Tater tots
