HOW TO MAKE A CREAMY TOMATO MOZZARELLA SAUCE FOR PASTA
Here’s the step-by-step recipe…

De-licious!
TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST SAUCE
- Shred a block of mozzarella: Shredding it yourself melts better and makes the sauce extra creamy.
- Don’t overheat the cream: Add it on medium-low to avoid curdling and keep the sauce smooth. Cut from heat once integrated.
- Simmer gently: Let the tomato sauce bubble lightly so flavors deepen without burning.
- Pasta shape matters: Curly or ridged noodles hold the sauce better than thin spaghetti.
- Add protein at the end: This keeps chicken, sausage, or meatballs tender and juicy.

MAKE IT A MEAL – WHAT TO SERVE IT WITH
- Salad: Spinach Salad with Everything Bagel Croutons
- Side: Grilled Italian Zucchini Kabobs
- Main: Smoked Chicken Breast
- Dessert: Chocolate Banana Bread Loaf

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 28 oz tomato sauce in a can, no added flavors
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese freshly shredded
- 1 LB pasta curly shapes work best
For serving
- Optional protein chicken breast or meatballs

- Pour in the tomato sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low—or turn off the burner completely—while boiling pasta and preparing your protein.
