Caprese Wreath Appetizer for Christmas
Video
Equipment
- 1 round serving platter
Ingredients
- 16 pz spinach fresh
- 3 pints cherry tomatoes
- 16 oz mozzarella pearls
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze or more to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Place a small glass in the center of your large circular platter and fill it with toothpicks.
- Add a layer of spinach in a circle around the toothpicks, then scatter the grape or cherry tomatoes on top.
- Add the mozzarella pearls, distributing them throughout the wreath. I like to move a few tomatoes to the top so more red peaks through the wreath.
- Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of balsamic glaze over the top just before serving.
- Finish by topping with fresh basil leaves for a fragrant and festive touch.
