What is Amazon’s Creator Connections Program?
So, here’s the scoop: Amazon’s Creator Connections is a program that allows creators (like us!) to partner with brands selling on Amazon. It’s a fantastic way to boost your earnings by opting into brand campaigns. These campaigns offer bonus commission rates on top of your standard Amazon Associate rates, which means more money in your pocket for the content you’re already creating!

Starting August 20, 2024, creators were automatically enrolled in this program if eligible—no need to go through a separate sign-up process. Which is why I didn’t know I was in it!
One of my top-selling products sold in my Amazon Influencer Store is this Meat Church Texas Sugar BBQ.
How to Get Started with Creator Connections
First things first, if you’ve received an email about being enrolled in Creator Connections, congrats! But if you’re like some creators who’ve been invited but can’t seem to find it in your dashboard, don’t panic. You’re not alone!

Here’s how to get started with the promo if you’re eligible:
- Check Your Amazon Associates Dashboard: Look under the “Promotions” tab. Sometimes it’s hidden, so you might need to switch your ID to the offsite ID to view it.
- Look for the Creator Star: If you have a “creator star” under your name on your storefront, that’s a good sign you’re in! The different star levels (bronze, silver, gold) indicate your sales performance, which might affect your eligibility.
- Don’t Worry if You’re Not Invited Yet: The program is still rolling out, and it’s being tested with a select group of creators. If you’re not in yet, keep up the great work—you might get the invite soon!

What’s the Buzz from Other Creators?
I’ve been chatting with other creators who are also navigating this new program, and here’s what they’re saying:
- Some were invited in an email to Creator Connections, but can’t find it anywhere in their dashboard. (Yeah, it’s a common issue, but keep looking under the Promotions tab or try switching your ID.)
- Some have seen the creator star in their storefront, but can’t figure out how to log in to the dashboard. (If you’re silver or higher and made sales last quarter, it should show up soon. Patience is key as Amazon rolls things out!)
- Others are wondering if this is a new Amazon creator beta test, and are curious about the future of licensing fees. (It seems like Amazon is testing the waters with certain features, so stay tuned for more updates!)
Tips for Maximizing Your Earnings
Once you’re in, here are a few tips to make the most of Creator Connections:
- Be Proactive with Campaigns: Keep an eye on your dashboard for new campaign requests. These will include details on what the brand is looking for and how much you’ll earn.
- Create High-Quality Content: Brands will look at your past performance and the quality of your content when deciding whether to work with you. So, bring your A-game!
- Be Transparent: Always disclose that you’re being compensated for your content. It’s not just a legal requirement—it builds trust with your audience.
